Freya Doggett is a London-based figurative and portrait painter whose work draws on late Impressionist brushwork and modernist experimentation to capture fleeting moments of the everyday, often centring on female figures. Trained in Fine Art at The Art Academy London with an MA in History of Art at The Courtauld Institute of Art, she blends memory and imagination in dreamlike scenes that explore intimacy, nostalgia, and the blurred boundaries of human connection. Animals often occupy symbolic roles in her paintings, appearing as mascots or companions that extend notions of companionship beyond the human experience.
Freya has exhibited her work internationally, including at 11 Avenue Studios (London), R Gallery (Malta), Galleria de Marchi (Bologna), The Brick Lane Gallery (London) and The Other Art Fair (London, 2023 and 2024); as well as undertaking numerous commissions for public and private clients. Her work has been featured in Vogue México y Latinoamérica and World of Interiors UK.
